I’m now a full-time ad copywriter, but began my professional life as a scrappy actress/writer in Vancouver indie theatre, co-creating edgy modern plays that took me across Canada and to Europe. I soon found my way to Toronto and into Film & Television, working on both sides of the camera in US and Canadian movies, shows and commercials. (More on that work can be found here.) When I wasn’t filming, I was studying — photography, fashion, comedy and improv in NYC and LA. And, traveling. Lots of traveling.
Then, I (finally) found advertising — the place where my passions for storytelling and pop culture nestled co-dependently into one another. Or, the power to change the world, all wrapped up for a bite-sized attention span,
